4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha
This is a luxury tour of Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Naivasha lying in the Great Rift Valley. The plains of Masai Mara offer a good chance to see the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. You may have time for optional activities such as Masai village visits and nature walks.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi city in the morning and transferred to Wilson airport to check in for your domestic flight to Masai Mara. Upon arrival you will be met by your safari driver guide and transferred to Fairmont Mara Safari Club. You will have a mid morning game drive before lunch and have the early afternoon at leisure. Evening game drive starts at 16:00 to 18:00 hours.
Dinner and overnight will be at Fairmont Mara Safari Club.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will leave for a full morning of game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You have good chances to see most of the Big Five. These include Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. You return to the lodge for buffet lunch. After lunch you have time for optional activities such as Masai village visits and nature walks. Evening game drives resume at 16:00 to 18:00 hours.
Meals and overnight will be at Fairmont Mara Safari Club.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha
You will begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:30 to 08:30 hours. After breakfast you will check out and join our company driver guide who will drive you to Lake Naivasha. You will enjoy picnic lunch on the way and a boat ride once you get to Lake Naivasha.
Meals and overnight will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Hell’s Gate National Park
After breakfast you will join your local guide who will take you on a cycling or walking tour to see the spectacular land forms in Hell’s Gate National Park. You exit the park by midday to rejoin your driver guide who will drive back to Nairobi and drop you off at a location of your choice.
