Diani Beach, Kenya

Diani Beach is one of the most exclusive locations for Kenya beach holidays. Situated on the South Coast of Mombasa, the 25 Kilometre strip is made up of Tiwi Beach, Galu Beach, Chale Island, Funzi Island and Kinondo.

The beach provides a tranquil haven where you can relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun. Diani is renowned for its coral-reefs, underwater sandbars, and widespread palm vegetation. The beach is a delightful location for swimming as well as surfing.

The sand is soft and brilliantly white; the sea is turquoise and usually crystal-clear; the reef is a safe thirty-minute swim or a ten-minute boat ride away; and, arching overhead, the coconut palms create pools of cool shade and keep up a perpetual slow sway as the breeze rustles through their fronds.

The beach is home to all manner of hotels and resorts, from the budget to the boutique, and is liberally scattered with bars, nightclubs, restaurants, art galleries, shops, spas and golf courses.  Many of the resorts have a daily programme of activities run by their professional animation teams, and there is also a number of tour, travel and adventure sports companies that specialise in specific activities.
