3 Days Taita Hills Game Santuary
Embark on a thrilling safari adventure starting from Nairobi City to Taita Hills Sanctuary. Begin with a scenic drive from Nairobi, enjoying game viewing en route to your lodge for check-in and lunch. After a short rest, explore the sanctuary on an afternoon game drive until sunset. Day two offers more game drives, encountering iconic wildlife like lions, buffaloes, and Tsavo elephants. Conclude your safari with a return to Nairobi, capturing unforgettable memories of Kenya's wilderness.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Taita Hills Sanctuary
Pick up from your hotel or airport in the morning and have a brief introduction with the driver-guide. Depart eastwards along Mombasa Road via Mtito and Voi towns. Arrival at your lodge is in time for check-in and lunch followed by a short rest. Later afternoon, a game viewing drive in the sanctuary follows to run until sunset and then return to lodge.
Dinner and overnight at either Taita Hills or Saltlick Game Lodges (L, D).
Day 2: Taita Hills Sanctuary
Depart after breakfast for game drives and return to sister lodge at Taita Hills for lunch followed by a rest. Later in the afternoon depart for more game drives. Attractions include lion, buffalo, the well celebrated red Tsavo elephant, the elusive leopard, mane-less Tsavo lion, zebra, various antelope types and a rich birdlife array among others. In the evening you return to your lodge for overnight.
Dinner and overnight at either Taita Hills Safari Lodge or Saltlick Safari Lodge (B, L, D).
Day 3: Taita Hill Sanctuary - Nairobi
After breakfast you depart for your drive back to Nairobi City and arrive later in the afternoon to mark the end of your safari.
